Hot weather and looking flawless don’t exactly go together. There’s the humidity either flattening your hair or frizzing it, the shine beaming from your face or mascara smudging under your eyes, and let’s not get started on the awkward sweat patches!
As the saying goes “if you want something done properly, do it yourself.”
While this may work for some things it doesn’t for all, and those things that it does work for will vary depending on one’s passion and capabilities.
Throwing back again to some time ago… June 2017 to be exact. And that day I had the pleasure of looking after the lovely bride Petra and her bridal party at The York and Albany.
It was a SCORCHING hot day but thankfully the venue was well ventilated and we had air con!
Back in October 2016 I had an enquiry land in my inbox from the lovely Valentina and 10 months later I was on my way to The Sheraton, Park Lane to look after this special lady and her lovely mother, Jacqueline, for the big day!
I thought I’d just take a little moment to introduce myself properly and talk a little about the work I do and why I do it.
So for those that don’t know me, my name is Camilla Collins and I am a London based hairstylist and makeup artist and company owner of Glitter & Glo and CJC Creatives.
