We aim to ensure that the artists we work with have the knowledge and ability to work across different skin tones, hair types and textures, and individual requirements. We also recognise that there is always more to learn, and we are committed to continuing to develop our knowledge, our kits and the services we provide.
Every client is an individual. We listen to what they want, respect how they choose to present themselves and never assume that hair or makeup should look a particular way because of someone’s age, gender or background.

Artists are selected for bookings based on their skills, experience, professionalism and suitability for the job. We are committed to providing equal opportunities and treating the people we work with fairly and respectfully.

At CJC Hair & Makeup, we recognise that even as a small business, the choices we make have an environmental impact. We are committed to working as responsibly as we reasonably can while maintaining the professional, hygiene and service standards our clients expect.
As a mobile hair and makeup business, our environmental impact comes primarily from the products and materials we use, the waste we create and the travel required to deliver our services.
Our approach
We aim to reduce unnecessary waste wherever practical. This includes making considered purchasing decisions, looking after and maintaining our professional equipment, avoiding unnecessary printing and paperwork, and recycling packaging and materials where appropriate facilities are available.
Within our kits, we aim to minimise unnecessary single-use products while recognising that disposable applicators and other items are sometimes essential for hygiene and safe working practices.
We also consider travel and logistics when planning bookings, particularly those involving larger teams, and aim to coordinate artists and journeys efficiently wherever practical.
An ongoing commitment
Sustainability within the beauty and events industries continues to evolve, and we recognise that there is always more that can be done.
Rather than making environmental claims we cannot substantiate, our commitment is to keep reviewing the way we work, make practical improvements where we can and choose more responsible options when they are genuinely appropriate for our business, our artists and our clients.
